I’ve written a lot about MachStudio Pro, but then the software went dormant. However this week the 2.0 version was released and it is FREE, as in no strings attached, and no personal info required for download. Just a free full version download for Windows.
The software is optimized for performance using FirePro workstation graphic cards with 2GB RAM. The new V2.0 exports to RenderMan and mental ray with support for mental images MetaSL, allowing a CPU-GPU hybrid rendering framework that offers artists the freedom to take advantage of MSP2 for passes suited to fast GPU rendering…
