The winners in the FirePro V3750 graphics accelerators giveaway, were published today. I received a little background on the winners and what they do.
Albert Chosky: Uses a V8700 today. Has been working for 10 years as a graphics designer, 4 years as a photo-retoucher and is moving into working with Maya to add animation and compositing to his work. Multi-media developer(Pixel Maestro) for L-3 Communications that supports Coast Guard Training Center Petaluma. I have been pumping out pixels for 15+ years. First purchased computer was a Mac II with 4 bit color video card. Scraped together some dollars to eventually upgrade to 8 bit. Previous work on Falcon 3, and Comanche 3 computer games. Now I support training on everything to C4ISR, to training food service specialist for the USCG. Still waiting for the card to arrive to put it throught the graphic gauntlet. I have a NVIDIA Quadro4 980 XGL in my IBM Intellistation at home.
