Eyefinity using curved displays for full “surround view”

PC Perspective has a video of two impressive curved display solutions for Eyefinity technology using “surround view”.  The basic takeaway is Eyefinity on curved display technology increases productivity and immersion.  It’s not a Holodeck, but it is moving the visualization world in that direction.

Scalable uses multiple projectors and software used to warp and scale the image output to create a seamless display on flat or curved surfaces or domes. The Ostendo demo uses a set of three 2880x900 curved monitors that creates a 270 degree FOV (you can also check out their Eyefinity CES demo).
