Stereo 3d Visualization in SolidWorks 2013 using AMD FirePro Graphics

Although you can’t see the stereo 3D in the video, the presenter gives and explanation of how active shutter polarized glasses sync with the monitor to create the perception of depth. He also covers how a FirePro card provides quad-buffered stereo OpenGL for stereo 3D viewing in CAD.

As a mechanical engineer, I desperately want a CAD system that I can visualize parts in in real time, and SolidWorks is my favorite CAD program. I'm just curious why no one has confirmed this is working in SW -- many other young MEs like myself have been asking for this technology for years.
